Sorry bud, but I think you might of read the wrong sources. Ukraine did not discriminate against Russians, unlike Russians who decided to crack down on the Crimean Tatars in Crimea after taking it.

If I say it's legal, it must be legal! Ukraine owns the land, it's not occupying it. Ukraine is forced to push Russia into its own lands to slow down and stop Russia from targeting and killing its people.
