There's quite alot of irony in hearing that trans people have been lied to from someone who takes an ancient text as literal historical record, and thinks that there's a red man with horns going around and fucking the world up. If trans people have been lied to, your religion basically gave you a whale of a tale.

The trans folks claim that they're a woman because despite having been born male, they feel like a woman, dress like a woman, use female pronouns and even might have gotten reassignment surgery. In other words, they have more evidence for their claims than you do for your own.
