Yes, there are school regions that use it as a teaching tool. You can read about that in the FAQ no one reads.

I think that nationstates would be great to use for teaching, say government classes.

My 8th grade class had to use NS as a school class region. The reality is that it doesn't really tie into existing curriculums very well, so the only people who really held onto using NS past the first couple of months are those who explored beyond the very sterile school class environment. This website is not built to be an educational platform, nor is it engaging to the general young population in the world of iPads.

Gender Dysphoria is a thing, it’s real. The debate you want to have is whether or not it’s correct to allow people with GD to transition to the gender they identify with or use a different course of treatment that prevents such from happening.

Now is it a possibility that some people might not actually be trans and just have a different mental health issue or suffered from abuse and believe that they wouldn’t be abused if they were a different gender? It’s possible though I’m not sure how rare it is or not. Either way that doesn’t really matter to the above question and the reality of trans people.

GD is a mental illness not an identity. Hence “trans” people aren’t really “trans” but just mentally ill people who are being told that they are the other gender.

As an American, I can confirm adding NS to the learning core would definitely benefit society; and have no downsides whatsoever.
