The last mass shooting the UK had was 13 years ago. The US appears to have one every couple of months.
Clearly one of those countries is doing something right.

Because Caninope may be in that room with you.

Riiight. Merry Old England has a gun problem. It's Subjects, and not Citizens, are not permitted to own firearms. How they are going to permit the Olympic Game shooters to bring in their rifles and pistols into Country is going to be interesting to say the least.
Just One American with a Carry Concealed License would have ended the rampage very quickly.

Imagine, there are reports of a spree shooting. Armed police rush to the scene, and find a man with a weapon drawn. Silly Yank bugger could get himself shot trying to play the hero.

I'd like to think the police would identify themselves and order him to drop the weapon before shooting him

Give me a source proving that more than one American has stopped a mass shooting in America. Give me a source that proves that relaxed gun control would mean that in most cases, a local hero would shoot the killer.

While a civvy might not have killed him they certaintly prevented more deaths.

Sure, there is firearm-related crime elsewhere, but real mass shootings are on college campuses.
Source?
I want to see a source claiming that we have mass shootings every couple of months, forget where.
But you're more than welcome to search any news archive. It will back up my claims.

US had 8 in the last 59 years, while the UK had 3, but 2 of the UK's are in the top 10 compared to 1 of the US's.
