The last mass shooting the UK had was 13 years ago. The US appears to have one every couple of months.

Both weapons used in this incident(a shotgun and a .22 rifle w/telescopic scope) were legally owned. Explain how the shooter could have two legally owned guns if British people aren't permitted to own firearms, please.

After Virginia Tech three years ago, we banned firearm use on college and university campuses, and since then, only colleges and universities have experienced mass shootings.

Sure, there is firearm-related crime elsewhere, but real mass shootings are on college campuses.
