This is the question you're asking?

I-bro...you know what, not even gonna ask anything else.

This is nice to hear (if their word can be trusted), but the damage is done. And I doubt Bibi would want to negotiate: he seems hellbent on destroying them.

It's probably not politically feasible to negotiate at this point.

I've heard that explosions are being constantly heard in Gaza at this moment. If true, it sounds like Israel has already commenced Operation Dresden. There cannot be that many hamas targets that the explosions can be an endless roar.

Bradfordville wrote:What did hamas even expect to gain by killing random foreigners with little connection to this conflict in the most brutal of ways possible? Forget a moral standpoint and consider just a practical one. Hamas has 130 hostages of varying nationalities. They could potentially gain some leverage by holding these people till their demands are met, and instead they literally beheaded a filipino and murdered and paraded a German woman through town. It's like hamas is trying to get the whole goddam planet on Israel's side. I don't wanna get to into the debate of "who is worse," but can you get much worse than brutally murdering random people who aren't your enemy and could just go home?

You ask this as if we should assume that this monstruous behaviour was specifically planned by Hamas. As if they sent people out with orders to find a Filipino woman to behead. Which doesn't seem likely.

My guess is Bibi might do it.

Just because the death toll keeps climbing and a ground invasion is going to cause Israeli deaths to skyrocket.

Or he’s going to genocide Gazans

May do it in order to appease the people he actually wants to make peace with (like Saudi) but may also end up doing the other thing because there are some truly hardline nutjobs in his party. He has a very big decision to make.

Wtf, you don't attack another country and then call a time-out because you got yours.

Lessons from Ukraine-Russia? This is another reason why that needs continued support and reversing of Russian 'gains'.

I'm not sure if he will. After all, this attack from Hamas has killed many more than other conflicts they waged. My guess is he may commit geocide (no indication either way which way he will go). They're already targeting medical teams and hospitals too, apparently.

The Saudis have reportedly ended talks at this time so I doubt if Israel will just end everything in hopes to resume talks. Plus, Bibi said "hard days are coming" for Israel and air attacks in Gaza are only the beginning.

You're giving Hamas more credit than they deserve. The killing and torture of civilians was very much intentional.

Well, at least you're honest about holding loathsome views. I wish you had been a bit more overt so that we could have given the mods the excuse they need to rub you from the forums.

It doesn't help either that Bibi said the air attacks in Gaza are just the beginning and that "hard days are coming" for Israel. Those words sound from a man ready for war.

And yep, he seems ready for a ground offensive too.

Yeah, you're probs right. The only way it ends is if he's pressured to do that, but I don't see Biden doing any such thing.

Israel doesn't need a deal with Saudi Arabia, if they back out because of what Palestinians pulled, hell with them. Saudi had no good faith intention to begin with. Netanyahu is a coward if he doesn't at minimum destroy Gaza for what they did.

If he doesn't destroy the lives (or kill) millions of people, half of whom are children, for what their unelected leaders did?

The blood of hundreds of innocent men, women, and children from numerous countries demands the complete eradication of the state of Palestine. Occupy the place, kill anyone who violently resists, and reeducate the women and children so a new generation of terrorists doesn't grow up.

Israeli victory will come when the spirits of the Palestinian people are broken beyond a shadow of a doubt. That will never happen. They have won the battle, not the war.
