Once, I was going to a pride street fair thingy. I’d seen people wearing pride flags as capes, and I wanted to do that too. However, I didn’t have any cape-sized pride flags. My solution: wear the 3x5 Ukrainian flag I had lying around. The combination of that and me wearing a kilt got a lot of strange but friendly looks. People found the story funny. Because they have a bunch of really old books written by superstitious sheepherders that says homosexuals are bad. I mean, the books say a lot of things, and they ignore basically anything that would personally inconvenience them, but when it comes to anything that gives them an excuse to be malignant assholes to people they don't like while insisting that they're doing God's work, well then their faith is unquestionable and unshakeable!
