Why bother with America? They certainly aren't going to help you out; they support pan-American coalitions, also known as anti-democratic alliances. They support Saudi Arabia and Pakistani actions into Asia and elsewhere.

Support Al Qaeda and the house of Saud. That's the rational course of action.

Fixed for parallelism.

Those were the only requisites at the time for a legal blockade, and they met them.

A blockade is only deemed illegal by the security council, other wise all it needs to do is meet the 1850 treaty of Paris standard of being effective.
and it has been that way since 1945, the same rules exist during the Cuban blockade as during the current blockade.

That's the great thing about multiple threads.
Your argument got debunked time after time in one thread?
Just ignore it and spout of the same rubbish in the other one and hope people can't be bothered to repeat themselves.

Yes, on that note I'll have to provide the Israeli's the same amount of honor regarding said doctrinal idea as I did Bush; which means my position remains unchanged.

Israel would've had plenty of time to wait till the fleet had actually entered territorial waters before boarding them.
Nothing would've changed other than the fact that, if they had done that, they would've been within their right.
However, they didn't wait and they did break the law.

Cute.
However, doesn't change anything about the fact that, no matter how you try to twist it, Israel fucked up by not waiting till the fleet was within their jurisdiction.
If they had waited, any bitching here would've been completely unfounded.

Well, it would have shifted towards the legality of the blockade in the first place... Rather than being both about the strict legality as well as the willynilly plowing through international waters miles from the region boarding foreign vessels in the open seas.

My point is that the world in the last twenty years hasn't really giving Israel any good reason to follow the rules in the court of PR they lose regardless so why bother even giving them the chance to do something, it doesn't do Israel any good.

Yes, Palestinian peace activists are certainly comparable to Nazis. Also, Chamberlain's policy was actually pragmatic. Britain was hardly in any shape to war with Germany during the period of appeasement, thanks in part to the Ten Year Rule, made self perpetuating by--you guessed it--Winston Churchill!

Peace activists are WORSE than Nazis. They are trying to foil Israel's plan to crush the Palestinians into submission. Nazis would simply be fighting Israel, and losing.

Unless you're claiming that the aid ships were actually ohh, I don't know, missile cruisers or strategic nuclear launch platforms, Israel would have had plenty of time and range to safely intercept and inspect the ships once they entered the blockaded area.

Losing. Right. The Jews excelled in WW2, apparently.

They were losing because they weren't combatants by and large, but if Nazis attacked Israel I suspect they might find a little more resistance. Maybe there's an RP topic in that?

Come on. We all know it isn't surprising. There is no one on the planet that didn't expect Israel to do that. If Israel can sabotage a peace flotilla, who would know what else they could do. After all, marbles and eating knives. And baseball bats. Oh my god. How could they. I mean, they brought knives that they could eat with? And marbles and baseball bats they might have been planning to play with? Oh no.
Then again, those marbles are bigger than the balls of any and every Israeli soldier and minister there is.
On the other hand, there is an Irish ship moving towards Israel at this very moment. Whats gonna happen now? I bet Israel will claim its been hijacked by the IRA 20 miles off.

The MV Rachel Corrie has been boarded by the Israeli military after getting close enough to Gaza to be seen by Palestinians on the coast. The passengers apparently offered no resistance.
