As I am in the U.S. and my IP is in the US Dictionary.com is not labeled with an international subtext thus it is a registered American website, making the Football American Football, plus Baseball is included in that list. Does that satisfy you?

well yes, i assume so. people generally refer to rugby as rugby and not its full name of rugby football (in britain and way) as it avoids confusion with football. also rugby and football do come from the same game, you used to be able to pick the ball up in football, but not run with it, but then some kid did (at rugby school) and football was divided into association football (soccer) and rugby football!
