Depending on where you live right now, it may or may not be June 1st. Regardless, it’s time for the moment everyone has been waiting for… The 2023 LGBT Pride Month! That’s right! This June is everyone’s favorite inclusivity month. So, in preparation, this forum thread has been made.

Here we can (and should only) discuss the general events, debates, and inevitable drama coming with this June. I imagine this thread will mainly be used for discussion of major events during the month. Also, if you’re interested, visit the Transgender Discussion Thread V if you wish to discuss trans gender related matters.

As a quick reminder, outside of the general stuff, please keep the discussion around this 2023’s June LGBT Pride Month, thus the title of the thread.

Good intentions, just really milked by corporations to try to sell people their products because “hey guys! BLM! We support the LGBT!” If you go to any international companies page there will be pride flags on their Europe, UK, America accounts but when you head over to Arabia, Russia etc page there will be none.

It’s like Christmas, really used by companies to get you to buy their product, but still some still find their joy in both times, and just like Christmas it’s also hated by some because “Gays bad, Christians bad”.

I don’t really care about Pride month, you won’t see me wearing around a shirt showing me being gay or being an ally or whatever because I really don’ t give a shit and I don’t like when it’s constantly shoved down my throat so I absolutely make sure it’s pride month, whether it be schools dedicating bits of the day to teach you about it or literally everything being painted rainbow. Like I said in the beginning, Pride month has good intentions, but it’s kina misused by corporations and kinda shoved down people’s throat every June.
