Yeah, she has practically no chance, but she has a better shot than Chris Christie. Go Team Marianne Williamson! She's about the most palatable choice available right now, anyway.

You know who Chris Christie reminds me of? You seen Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers movies?

I think DeSantis still has some more appealing factors to moderates, he is rhetorically much more reserved.

Given that polls indicate that most Americans consider a person's gender to be congruent with their sex assigned at birth, this is probably not likely to alienate a significant number of "moderates"

DeSantis doesn’t have the same energy as Trump and is too conservative on social security. He also doesn’t talk about anything other than culture war stuff.

what about Mike Pence? Heard Indiana did fiscally well under his— gubernatorship? governership? governing?— what ever the word is. Maybe he could get Congress to do something about our HUGE national debt? But then again, he might be rather conservative for some moderates. Also probably a good candidate for the GOP cause the Dems can't blame him for 01/06.

Vote for Donald Trump because Joe Biden is a crazy old man who smells peoples hair and lives in a basement and Ron DeSantis is a hypocrite who gets teenage girls drunk and Joe Exotic is a crook and RFK is a shapeshifting lizard from Zeta Reticuli masquerading as a political moderate and Kanye West is Hitler's secret clone from the secret Nazi space base on the moon make America Great Again and get rid of the evil nazi space lizards!

I don't think Pence has a snowballs chance in hell of being the Republican nominee on account of a significant chunk of the party and its supporters seeming to believe he's a traitor who ought to be hanged by the neck until death. Or other such things.

I actually don't know a single Republican who holds to that belief. I'd say a lot of Republicans I know are rather annoyed at Trump's antics, and liked it when Pence kept his cool. (Especially the whole fly thing at the VP debate ). But then again, being docile will get you trodden over in a presidential primary.

EDIT: I just had a funny idea. Someone tell Unmet Player that Mike Pence is the 21st century version of Calvin Coolidge :lol2:

Such as?

He is a wanker who only knows demagoguery for the issues.

Even now two of his ideas:

Student debt? The universities pick up the tab.

Military? Give back pay to any soldier who left because he refused the covid vaccines.

Upon googling, a pornstar ran in 2020 with Coolio as her VP pick and a pro-wrestler as the security chief. Yes, the Gangsta’s Paradise Coolio.

Torn between wanting to see a former president running against his former VP in a debate when one of those persons is a complete fucking looney tune and not wanting to support the very spectacle that made that looney tune's rise possible.
