Did you miss the part where I generally ignore people unless I'm forced otherwise? Just because someone is being a nuisance doesn't mean I'll remember anything about them besides them being a nuisance 5 minutes later. 2023, where people want to be treated like something, but I'd rather just ignore them, because giving people special attention is a hassle, and I don't really give a toss about them (though I wish they'd be quieter because their noise is bothersome).

If the conservative voices would stop trying to dehumanize them, and deny them their rights, and instead we treated them like normal people in general, then you wouldn't have to hear about them all the time. True, but that has nothing to do with me. Sexuality has never been a factor in how I personally treat people. However, I hate collectivism. And when people start gathering together and making a ruckus about just about anything, I'll start grumbling and waving my walking stick. Not that I have any particular investment in things staying the same even... as long as all the stuff can be dealt with quietly and efficiently, preferably without me even being aware of it.
I miss 2020. At least then I had a socially legitimate reason for staying in my room and avoiding any human contact perpetually.

I attended the Friday prayer today at my local mosque, and the lecture was regarding the LGBT community, where the Ustadz delivering said lecture was dehumanizing them, claiming that those people could spell the end of the human race. I'll spare you the worst of it, but all you need to know is that he opened up the lecture with info about a Coldplay tour in Indonesia.

The economics of Star Trek are egalitarian and certainly left wing, but I don't think they're communist. More like just the byproduct of a vague post-scarcity outcome.
