I think the problem with Fox is that it's being marketed as "news" and it isn't actually news. It's an issue of false advertising.

If people are up front that what they're saying is just opinion and not fact, then I don't agree with censoring it -- but Fox is not up front about that. They present things as factual when it's complete bullshit. They market themselves as news, but then they run stories that they know are not true.

Anti-LGBT content wouldn't be at the top of my list of reasons to ban Fox. Top of my list would be the fact that it's a scam. But Canada is still well within its rights to remove it from Canadian cable.
