for one thing fox news can be watched on youtube so there is a loophole (if they ban that then something is really wrong with the canadian political system, it'd mean the prevention of information getting from place to place and would clearly affect canadian democracy), but either way banning people from broadcasting news is banning free speech, I'd call that fascism (if the ban is not banning broadcasting it but simply stops broadcasting it themselves and that is different)
