Going to school for truck driving, two months old doing good (and so is her mom), and gradually building up my vocabulary in the Urdu language.

Ahhh, 13th April. The start of Water Festival, for the next 4-5 days. It's a Burmese New Year, as well for a few other SE Asian countries (Songkran in Thailand, for example).

Kinda just celebrating it small and in spirit at home between my family and I. No big water fights and splashing outside, because water in Singapore is expensive... Though I wonder if some Burmese communities are doing it this year anyway.

Wish I can go back. I can live by without celebrating most of the holidays in Burma, but Thingyan, I miss dearly. But I can't go back for obvious reasons, so maybeeeee next few years, I hope it will be fine.
