When a person's problem is that the don't have a house, there is a very obvious thing that you can give them to solve that problem, and it very obviously isn't a job.

Salt Lake City created a program where they built housing for the homeless and helped them with addiction and getting jobs. As a result they mostly eliminated the city's problem with homelessness.

Not quit. What they improved is chronic homelessness. There are still homeless individuals.

Do you think that people pay rent to live in a house they own?

Agreed. They have done nothing to address the root cause of homelessness in SLC, which is the absurdly rising cost of living there.

Perhaps it has something to do with "mortgage"................... But thats just a liberal lie. The truth is that you dont ahve to pay your bills.. I don't and I'm fine. Of course I use public coffee-shop wifi since I have no connection nor any electricity or running water but thats fine.

What a surprise, having a city in a place where it makes no sense whatsoever for there to be a city makes the cost of living high. Almost as if though SLC should have fucked off and never been founded.

We can use the USDA terminology which is anything under 50k

You're misunderstanding. What I mean to say is that chinese steel and concrete towers are frankly more resource intensive (although probably not per unit), as opposed to north american houses which are smoke and mirrors, yet they can pump out so much that nobody even needs em any more. They're kind of like Hoxha's bunkers, you know?

Great Salt Lake is rapidly drying up and is very likely going to cause toxic dust storms when it does. SLC doesn't have a whole lot of time left to keep an alright place.

well, shit, that already gives me a small list of cities and towns in Indiana that have plenty of job opportunities

Frankfort with a population of 28k, despite its classification as a city, has manufacturing, retail, food, insurance and agriculture as the biggest job producers. Monticello, with a population of 5k has the same. on top of having the Indiana Beach amusement park nearby. just to name a couple examples

I will have you know Salt Lake City is very diverse and their current mayor is a woman and their third overall. It also has a large lgbt population.

My issue isn't with the city, it's with the Mormon church's intolerance of everyone I mentioned.
