Religion has a MASSIVE variety of benefits. Well, at least mine does, but that's the only religion I really care about.

My religion was around at the beginning. There were times when there was apostasy, but people still have a chance to be saved

Obviously we do not. The scientific method is not a tool for "proving" or "disproving" anything but rather it is a method for gathering information about the natural world.

The scientific method is used to determine the validity of a hypothesis about the natural world by comparing to observations made in the natural world. A claim is proven or disproven. Information about the natural world is also gathered.

Religion is okay as long as one holds his believes for himself and doesn't try to enforce his believes to others. A strong seperation of church and state like France handles works for me. Religion should also not put other groups lower then themself.
A good part of religion is that it can give people hope when things are bad at the moment, and that it brings people together.

So considering I have no motive to lie and regularly spend time on campuses of the University of Gloucestershire,
let me tell you there is a regular attempt to practice wokeism as a consistent ideology.
And it competes with the better ideology taught by most major world religions.

Anyway to actually answer the question posed by the thread, I don't really think one can paint every religion with the same brush. There's certainly some religions responsible for horrors, but there are also plenty of benign ones.

Sure. Feminism, broadly speaking, advocates for fairness and equal rights for all regardless of sex.

Even if there is (despite all "proof" being some sort of argument from authority) out of all the possible religions, what's to say that yours is the right one? What's to say that that gods is worth worshipping? The Yahweh of the Bible is quite the sadist.
