Exterminating all homeless people and refusing to construct multi-floor residential buildings for rich people aren’t Democratic policies; they’re the ravings of a fictional character intended to mock urbanites.

Nope, that's actually pretty much where a lot of Democratic mayors and city councils and donors are at, actually. Politico seems to have picked up on something interesting. Among the aides shielding Feinstein from the press is Nancy Corinne Prowda, eldest daughter of Nancy Pelosi. Apparently the Pelosi family are deeply involved in keeping Feinstein in office.

The intrigue surrounds the future of Feinstein’s seat. Pelosi has endorsed Rep. Adam Schiff, her longtime protégé and former hand-picked House Intelligence Committee chair, to succeed Feinstein after her sixth and final term ends next year. Schiff (D-Calif.) is a household name in California and already has a $15 million campaign cash advantage over his nearest competitor.

But if Feinstein were to bow to pressure and retire early, Schiff’s advantage could disappear. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) has pledged to appoint a Black woman to serve out her term, and one of Schiff’s declared opponents, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), would fit the bill.

I think its just more of his partisan nationalism. San is fine with enjoying the benights of immigration, such as feeling good about himself and a larger GDP. We can see that in his posts about immigration in Arizona, Florida.
He just wants the immigrants to stay in red states, not in his state. There's "no room" in his state.

Not Dimetrodon, but I also think Trump could win. There is concern about a third party spoiler like No Labels or an independent candidate taking votes from the Democrats. Also, no one is really enthusiastic about Biden, but a lot of people are still enthusiastic to vote for Trump.
