i remember a few summers ago when i lived in a dorm over the summer. it was horribly hot, with humidity in at least the 80th percentile most every day. I ended up putting my laptop in the refrigerator (probably a very stupid idea in retrospect) when it wasn't in use.
anyway, your roommate is still stupid. kill him with something sharp.
