My response would be the previously mentioned kick to the junk, then take over the thermostat and attack anyone who gets near. I hate the heat. I'm really thinking of moving to Canada or Alaska when I move out.

imho, it has to get at least above 90(F) for it to be really hot.

i remember a few summers ago when i lived in a dorm over the summer. it was horribly hot, with humidity in at least the 80th percentile most every day. I ended up putting my laptop in the refrigerator (probably a very stupid idea in retrospect) when it wasn't in use.

anyway, your roommate is still stupid. kill him with something sharp.

Kitchen knife?

Or have they banned those in Bertishierland?

If so, perhaps a sharpened shovel would work.

Perhaps try turning off the electric blanket/nuclear reactor?

Considering your very low environmental heat tolerance, I can only conclude that you have an electric blanket and/or a Liquid Metal Fast Breeder Reactor in your pants.

Hence the use of an electric blanket and/or a Liquid Metal Fast Breeder Reactor.

Over 20 degrees, my god man you must be sweating. :p

Actually what pisses me off about heating is when it is winter people will chuck the heater up to 30 degrees but during summer when it gets like that they complain about the heat and when it gets hotter about 45 they chuck the A/C down to 15 degreees and it is bizarre because when it drops below 20 they have the heater on but during summer want it down to 15. WTF?

I'm the opposite. I start getting cold below 18 (C). I need the heat. This is why I live in Florida. :)
It was about 25 when it was rainy and overcast all day. I know that I've worn long sleeves and pants in 38 degree heat before and been comfortable, and I haven't worn shorts since I became old enough to pick my own clothes. :p
But yeah... I can't handle the cold. Florida "winters" make me miserable. I have to put on blankets all day almost year-round, even here in Florida, but that's probably because of the way my Dad or roommates (depending on time of year) keep the air-conditioning.

I've turned the heat on during a hot day, but that's because I woke up freezing to death from the a/c.
