The fact is mass shootings went up since the assault weapon ban expired but that's a fact you and others refuse to acknowledge.

The unconstitutional 94 awb, had a negligible effect on crime, the other issue was and is still true today that handguns are still the most used firearm to carryout a mass shooting.

This is the biggest problem with AWBs as an idea. Handguns are the preferred weapon for every type of gun crime, but SCOTUS already said the Dems can't flatly ban them so they instead just resort to security theater stuff like this.
