The number of dead has exceeded 40 thousand, and after this time, the financiers of the responsible persons are as guilty as those responsible. The Turkish nation is going to the elections, no one should even think of "the effort to postpone the election".

Again, can you show how they’re tied to Hamas?

I would stay away from the coastlines for a bit longer, because it seems the first two major earthquakes are causing a chain reaction.

Yes, I know some Bible Belt people are going to claim it's the "end of the world" (it’s not, geologically): maybe I have been watching way too many uploads of Bible Belt VHS tapes just because of how weird they are.

This seems to be a common thing in Turkey. An earthquake on one section of a fault triggers another further down.

The great Istanbul earthquake is approaching and just like in Hatay, no action has been taken in İstanbul. As a Turk, I must unfortunately say that Turks worship mythological creatures. This mythology needs to stop worshiping and move forward in the path of science. Earthquakes will always happen, but Science will always prevail over mythology and natural disasters.

The number of people who died in the earthquake due to the imprudence of political Islam is higher than it seems. Just as they hide the covid-19 death rates, they also hide the number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake.

I am not anti-religious, I am a Turkish young man who fully respects people's freedom of belief. But if Islam gets involved in politics, the result will be 40 thousand lives. Let's admit it now, this earthquake disaster is a genocide, a genocide perpetrated on the Turkish nation by political Islamists. If you find what I write unfounded and Islamophobic, please do not talk to me, do not communicate with me. Despite political Islam, I will stand by science and humanism until the end.

I think he refers to how badly the AKP and their allies in the MHP have fucked things up in the name of political Islam, including the shoddy construction in the southeast, which came from local AKP governments putting their cronies in charge. Remember, Erdogan's spent nearly the entirety of the last five years throwing red meat to Islamists and fighting culture war issues because, like in the US, it's the only place where people can see immediate tangible results. Especially considering the Turkish economy's in terrible shape and the Lira was in danger of hyper-inflation even before the war made it a global problem.

''kötü söz sahibine aittir'' Did you really get that out of my post? I think I should have written in more detail, sorry.

Islam: it is a religion and should be protected within the scope of freedom of belief

Political Islam: just like national socialist thought, it is an idea of hatred and should never be justified.

I still don't understand how political corruption is solely to do with political islam. This type of corruption could have happened (and has happened on many occassions), under secular governments, including your beloved CHP.

The problem of corruption is independent of ideology. Funny how your 'reason and science' cannot comprehend that.

Secularism does not equal incorruptability. This is coming from someone who generally favours secular government. Incorruptability comes from other factors.
