It was a good tank, from a capabilities stand point. from a production standpoint, not so much.

The Tiger was an overweight box that couldn't do anything that the Pershing couldn't do with two-thirds of the weight. If they put as much effort into designing an efficient sloped armor layout as they put into designing the needlessly complicated interleaved suspension to carry that overweight armored box, they might have actually had a good tank.

But we digress...
