Now I get it. The Earth is flat because the government is controlled by unicorns that use human robots to control the masses. They don't want us to learn about magic land which is beyond the magic ice wall because that will cause the leprechauns to gain control of the moon.

I know it doesn't make any sense, and I don't have any proof, but I believe it and nothing any of you say can change my mind. :p

There are no Aliens. As Earth is a unique world.

Those "distant stars" you see in the sky are just tiny specs a couple thousand miles away, around the moon and sun.

To sum all this up, seems to me that Tom has a very good imagination, and is able to put his thoughts into words.
However, his dedication to his theory is rather tight, and his not listening to the evidence put forth by the others is rather discouraging to anyone interested in the subject....
Tom...you say you are an atheist, right? Do you belive in the theory of evolution, and of the planets being related to one another because of their universal beginning somewhere in the primordial past?
(I am not making fun, just asking if that is what you belive)
And so, as I rant on and on about what dorks you are, I come to realize what I am.

What were you looking for when you opened this? I'm a dork...at least that's what my name says. Kids these days...

I just thought of something...

If the world was indeed flat, why can't we see for miles upon miles past EVERYTHING THAT ISNT FLAT??? Unless you live in Flordia or Montana, you can't see for thousands of miles.

I've been in a plane, and once you get to a certain height you can see the curvature of the Earth. Also, shit disappears over the horizon. Also, you can see satellites orbiting the Earth with the naked eye. Also, radio waves can't reach Australia from Britain.

i think the earth is a cube. using my "Logical" thinking i think its a cube because there is depth in oceans. *sarcasm*.

Looks like we got someone who won't believe anything till they get sent to space to see the proof. I think the earth is round, most of the world agrees too. Good luck trying to get us back to the dark ages.
