How can your Flat-Earth have a core considering it is flat?
"Flat" doesn't mean two-dimensional, you know. The earth has a thickness. It's just not spherical in the "round earth" sense.how come we are not being crushed by the earth shooting up through space faster than the speed of light?
The acceleration has been at a constant rate of 9.8 m/s2. This has been going on for millions of years. Since there's no air in space, there's no friction to affect the earth, so we merely experience something simulating gravity.
The only other known way to simulate gravity is by spinning. IN order for this to be a simulated gravity, you would have to be inside the sphere. You are contradicting yourself so, shut up now.
