Jail isn't the same as prison.
Jail refers to being locked up for a time when there is sufficient evidence for a crime but needs investigating. This is usually in a police station.
Being sentenced to prison requires a trial

Was going to post something similar. People in jail before trial are there for reasons. They also are supposed to get time served after judgement.

A review should be performed of course especially the SCI and the sensitivity of the information.
Even though Biden’s people are doing the “right” thing by cooperating. This is a massive political gift for the republicans. They will be making noise of it being the same as the situation with Trump. They are not:
* Trumps people never reported, fought requests for the return of documents, denied, and stonewalled. Biden’s people reached out after finding them.
* 325 documents with SCI and special programs versus less the 12 with maybe an SCI level doc.

Oh it’s already begun. That Donalds guy was on with the pho-rage.
* A vp doesn’t have access to classified.
* I want to point out to the American people that it TOOK 6 YEARS for this to be noticed.
* Trump’s situation is different and didn’t do anything wrong.
* Already talking about many investigations for biden.
The 6 years thing is a valid question. Without knowing what they were; it could be not as sensitive as all the documents Trump took.
We shall see.
Still this is going to be a shit show for the faithful base.

That's not good. Not quite the trump level of bad, but Trump being a shitty person doesn't make Biden a saint. I do wonder how this took 6 years, though, and an investigation is probably a good idea.

WElllllll compared to trump he is practically a saint.![]()
Still; prepare for the deluge of bullshit the republicans will be spewing.
There are valid questions like why 6 years.
There are others like how where they stored? If they were in a safe? Not as bad as Trumps storage boxes in the closet and an off site storage.
The sensitivity of them. Just about everything gets classified. Something’s are not that big of deal; some like some of the claims of what trump had are a really big deal.
The problem facing the investigation will be the shit show the republicans will make of it.
We shall see.

In an isolated bubble,
Would the Vice President holding onto classified material (inadvertently or with intent) merit some kind of investigation?

Extreme downpours, high winds and flash floods have caused at least 12 fatalities in the past 10 days and created power outages for hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across the state. National Weather Service forecasters have warned of a “relentless parade of cyclones” over the coming days that will exacerbate the risk of flooding in central and Northern California.
“Round after round of heavy rain on saturated soils will produce considerable flood potential with rapid river rises, mudslides and burn scar flash floods or debris flows,” NWS forecasters said in a bulletin.
The president approved the emergency declaration for California during a visit in Mexico City for the North American Leaders’ Summit. California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday evening said he’s in close contact with the White House to ensure the state has adequate aid.
The president’s emergency declaration authorizes the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate all disaster relief efforts and provide assistance for required emergency measures, the White House said in a statement.
The declaration covers the counties of El Dorado, Los Angeles, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Monterey, Napa, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Sonoma, Stanislaus and Ventura.
As of Monday morning, more than 130,000 homes and businesses in California were still without power, according to data from PowerOutage.us. Pacific Gas and Electric, the state’s largest power company, said on its website on Sunday that more than 4,100 crews are staged throughout its service area — including the regions most affected by the storms — in one of the company’s largest emergency response efforts in history.
California has endured a series of atmospheric river storms, which are long, narrow streams in the atmosphere that transport most of the water vapor outside of the tropics and typically produce extreme rainfall and snowfall over short durations.
The atmospheric river storms have overlapped with a low-pressure system often referred to as a bomb cyclone, a phenomenon that generally occurs when a cold air mass collides with a warm air mass.
The upcoming storms are particularly concerning as the ground in California remains saturated and therefore more vulnerable to flooding and rapid runoff. The NWS said it anticipates heavy rainfall of up to five inches near California’s coast and more than six feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the coming days.

Funny, anyways she gave 54 million dollars to her own media company to make commercials as well. Anyone who thinks she even remotely helped Warnock, Ossoff, or Biden in 2020 is not to be taken seriously in my opinion.

And your reasoning is?
You do realize that the GOTV campaign she ran helped make those victories a reality.
She’s a terrible candidate but she’s a great community organizer
