The Republican clown show continues. McCarthy can't even count the house. Who in his caucus will tell him it's over? OTOH I wouldn't be at all surprised if this entire shitshow including the "altercation" hadn't been planned in advance to take the wind out of the sails of the second anniversary of the violent armed insurrection. I think Gaetz was supposed to vote for McCarthy while Boubert was supposed to vote present which would have lowered the threshold while allowing him to win.
