Yes, I took that into account. The final vote tally was:

McCarthy: 216
Jeffries: 212
Other (Biggs 2, Jordan 2): 4
Present: 2

The 2 don't count, so that's 216+212+4 == 432 votes cast. McCarthy got 216 of them, which is exactly half. McCarthy loses again, because they're bad at math.

They only have exactly half, they need one more so they're trying to pressure Gaetz and Boebart that they need to switch from present to McCarthy in order for this to be the last vote.
