Your reasons being that learning critical thinking skills makes it harder for the GOP to indoctrinate people and the idea of people learning a version of American history that isn’t the GOP approved version with all the “obejctionable” bits (so anything that presents America in any sort of negative light) removed to make them more suitable for fragile conservative consumption without risking hurting their feelings is the worst thing ever.

Lol :), as I am sure you know many in the GOP, say that Leftists are indoctrinating people and kids on Leftist views through CRT Critical Race Theory, see how in Politics everything works both ways in reverse, not just one way? Proving My Point.

What GMS just said reminds me when Gen. Mark Milley said during testimony before Congress, "I've read Marx and Mao, doesn't mean that I agree with them.", and Matt Gaetz was triggered AF.

We have to teach history no matter how painful it is. Trying to sweep it under the rug in the name of fighting CRT puts us as a civilization at further risk of repeating the mistakes of the past.

There are literally thousands of dead celebrities to choose from, I want to know why they choose JFK Jr. They could have picked someone that was actually a conservative.

They're mixing conspiracy chocolates and peanut butters. For a trifecta they'd insist that 2Pac will play their inauguration. Just pick a person who died and there's conspiracies about it, insert them into the mix. Q is almost certainly those two assholes from 8chan I still insist that a lot of these 'theories' are just people on the internet trying to see what they can get others to believe and it got away from them.

Like, okay...a while ago there was this not really thought out prank where people were told to post some bullshit saying that was in that 'I'm not tooooouuuuuuching you' realm where it implies something shitty but relies on the audience making that leap and then trying to embarrass them with it. Sort of like a tick tock or reel or something where the gag is to walk by a woman and go "Nice melons" but when she turns around he's talking to a guy with two melons in their hand.

The idea was to post these things, then point and laugh when the 'media' took the bait and reported about the 'scary' thing that was happened.

Except everyone who reported it did 30 seconds worth of googling and found the organizational threads on the subject and then reported exactly what happened, these groups coordinated to post this pseudo-provactive thing to 'trick' the media. They really didn't have any choice but to declare themselves victorious for making the news at all even though no one fell for it as prescribed.

I believe something goofier ended up happening down ol' Q way. What probably started as a way to have 'liberals' think conservatives believe some goofy thing to discredit their impression of conservatives but one thing leads to another and a bit of improv goofing around ends with someone showing up to a pizza parlor demanding to see the non-existent basement.

So now it's a 'no conspiracy too silly' competition where the pranksters are playing it straight and the rubes are so confounding that it becomes hard to tell whose fucking around and who is just that fucking stupid.

Facts don’t care about their feelings.

Silly rabbit, facts don't care about your feelings when you're on the left ("how many times do I have to explain that the left and lib-" no one cares, go hang out with the 'It's Frankenstein's monster' and 'Classical only refers to a short period between the 17th and 18th century'. If you get enough of you together you can learn what it's like to be invited to a party).

When facts hurt the right's feelings, they have to change.

It's a sad situation all around. I also think that the pandemic and the isolation that came with it made it possible for more people to fall victim to this.

You can strongly criticize them all, Kary Lake, Trump, Stacy Abrams, Hillary Clinton, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi and many more, but they are all American citizens who have the democratic right to challenge and deny election results if they believe it. I am sure that in the future there will be Democrats and Republicans who will cry election vote fraud and deny election results, it is part of politics in the USA and the world.

I and my fellow Republicans love Kary Lake and Trump and there is nothing wrong with it. You know the rest of my comment by now.

There is something wrong with promoting conspiracy theories and outright lies. There was no fraud in Arizona and Lake's case was dismissed. Hobbs is now governor for the next term.

Opinions are not facts but you are incapable of understanding this.

I never said they didn’t. It’s just it’s incredibly stupid for them to do so. Especially when they push it so much it makes them look delusional. Look at Donald Trump for this specific example.

Arizona prisons are inducing labour of pregnant prisoners early, against their will. This same prison has previously seen reports of pregnant inmates being so neglected that they were giving birth in their cells, lending credence to the claims of prisoners that the prison is now inducing all pregnant prisoners to avoid liability for any similar case.

America sure does have some fucked up prisons.

I remember several years ago there was a story about a prison in St Louis not having air conditioning and those on the street could hear them complaining about how hot it was.
