What is the secret recipe to making a Large Prosperous Region?

I dont know about you but making a successful region - Impossible, literally. Lets say you tried everything to make, promote and try too develop a region goal but still attrac no one not even 5 people nor even just 1 person how do you make that region of 1 into a 100 or so?

Lets look at my region, lets say you do something like me, and do the following: Promote region on 'find a region' megathread, make a goal, specificly one of the things like how i say too make big headache for the region The Pacific despite i have nothing against them, did everything a region needs but a WA Delegate and use my puppets to make my region look filled with text even when i am just talking to my self.

So does anyone know how too grow a region?

First of all, your recruitment ad sucks. I recommend you create a new nation and take a look at other recruitment ads you get. Then, write a good one based off your results.

Asides from that, remember the golden rule: If the work involved in creating and maintaining a region overwhelms you, you are not ready to create a region.

The secret recipe is hideous amounts of time and money. Every large region in the game save GCRs is burning cash on stamps to send tens of thousands of recruitment telegrams to newly founded nations, and a lot of them are also having their members put hours of their day into telegramming new nations manually for recruitment too.

You can run your own region without any of those things just fine, but it'll never be huge like the regions you're probably thinking of, it'll just stay a small group of friends.

You’ll need to time travel back about 10~15 years and make a region then

Sure you can buy your way to inflated population stats, or be given free nations by the game itself, but at the end of the day you need to have a purpose, a reason why somebody would spend parts of their life in your region. What are you doing that’s fun? What are you offering? Just a bunch of text to read? An artificial friend group that just uses NS as an excuse to play other games on Discord? Roleplay? Raiding or defending?

If you’re seeking that after the fact, then delete your region and go join one that’s already really thought about what value they offer.

1. A unique theme.
2. Heavy recruitment while respecting other regions' rules.
3. Immediately engage new members.
4. Organize in a way that gives members a vested interest in the success of the region.
5. Make sure that nobody, including the founder, is indispensable.
6. Time. Lots of time.

Neither a unique theme nor shitloads of money are necessary to have a region, nor is the secret travelling back in time. What's needed is focus, patience, and a concept of self. Where a lot of regions fail and few succeed is the ability to remain stable and put their members first.

A lot of founders come through the GP board and put up adverts about their region. They spend untold amounts of time trying to impress other people about how well they're doing with FA updates every three minutes. All while the community they manage is neglected because they treat their region as a prize to be shown off, or a political tool to be wielded as long as they have the attention span for it. In reality, your region is a community where people live, where people want to feel grounded, where people depend it will exist tomorrow.

What might not be on the tin when you're considering founding a region is that the energy investment, the attentiveness, the general work involved -- there is no threshold you pass where all of that suddenly ends. It is an indefinite responsibility which allows rests, but no vacations. A lot of regions have been created, reached triple-digit populations, and died in the amount of time mine has been around. The difference between a flash in the pan region and one that endures is how well you are able to maintain its requisite energy and consistency over a long period of time, keep things fresh and interesting, keep coming up with new ideas.

A region and everything that's needed to support it (plans, events, structure, information, government functions, etc), is a lot. It is, in its entirety, a community project where you need to work with friends and the people in your region to build together if anyone else besides you is supposed to feel anything for it. At the sane time, if it fails, you ultimately must shoulder the blame. So become the embodiment of your community with an undying passion to keep your members good and happy. listen to their ideas, try out their experiments, be okay with making mistakes.

Surround yourself with as many helpers, aids, and supporters as you can who share that undying passion, let them try out experiments and make mistakes. Let them rotate in and out of positions to avoid their own burnout. Recruit up to a level that you believe the government can easily sustain and not a nation past it. As you outlive regions that come and go, you passively pick up more long-term members and learn more techniques to better yourself. That, itself, causes a feedback loop which lets you find new people who are interested in helping carry your community, just as it unlocks new ideas for how you can improve what you already have. As long as you put your community first and remain dedicated to their needs, you cannot fail.

At that point it is easier to invest in yourself, improve your earning capacity and be able to throw hideous amounts of money than to do all that.

I'm not sure The Invaders is what I would call a prosperous region. You can't just toss stamps into a pit and call it good, you're going to have to do the social legwork either way.
