Porn is fine in my eyes. Some people need a release for their sexual tension. So go ahead! Watch porn!

But it should still be made illegal. Think of it. Thousands of children growing up watching porn.

Thousands of poorly-supervised children. That's not porn's fault. It's the parents' for neither supervising them nor explaining reality to them

Demystifying sex. Learning that there's nothing shameful about the human body or the sexual desire that drives us all. Throwing off our Puritan morals and discovering new ways of thinking.

No, porn isn't glorious but there is something to be said for challenging taboos.

It depends on what you mean by "okay."

Almost all porn is "okay" in the sense of "legal (and should be legal)." The obvious exceptions there are things like snuff porn or child porn, which inherently involve someone committing extremely not-okay illegal acts.

The question of whether legal porn is "okay" in the sense of "good/ethical/not harmful to anyone" is trickier. I certainly don't think porn is inherently bad, but there are unquestionably specific examples of porn that are, for example, massively demeaning towards women. Now, there's obviously no law against making a video in which all the women are referred to as "stupid, worthless fuck pigs," nor should there be, but it is entirely reasonable to question whether that video might be less than ethically wonderful.

Some porn is OK. Most of it is pretty low quality though.

If we criminalise porn, we'll just end up like China. I wouldn't put it past Homeland Security to censor discussion and debate.

Porn is influenced by a great deal of popularly held beliefs by the porn industry, principly among them being that their main consumers are males, and more specifically males who are only interested in pleasuring themselves and couldn't care less about women, and therefore have no problem with demeaning women.

This is probably why a lot of porn can be considered potentially unethical.

I've always wondered, perhaps you can tell me: Who is objectified in gay porn?

People always talk about porn treating women as objects, and I've wondered.

More seriously, sex is part of human nature so whats the big deal? There is far worse things going on in this world to get your panties in a twist about than Porn (excepting the kidie stuff, thats wrong).

Millions? Isn't that a slight exaggeration? Pornography isn't the same as forced prostitution or slavery. Some are in it for the money, some for the fame and some just because they like sex. Some find that it's harder to get out than it is to get in, but few are in it because they're in bondage. If you're going to point to places like Saudi Arabia, I'll point out that women are already debased and exploited in strict patrilineal societies, and that pornography is not the cause of it.

Although it could be argued that mainstream porn is degrading women and making them out to be little more than warm, moist holes with tits attached that moan when in use, that's the fault of the porn industry and its consumers. Porn does not necessarily have to be like that, and there is porn that isn't. And no, I don't mean gay porn.

It can be argued, and there's porn out there that I agree does little more than objectify women. However, I wouldn't say that American society is becoming more hostile or degrading to women than before. Sex is a very primal urge, and the drive to satisfy that urge is difficult to suppress. I submit that giving those primal urges a safe outlet is worth it, so long as everyone involved is of legal age and consenting of their own free will.

Read the spoiler if ya wanna know my military equipment.
Embassies in MS: Barnetsville
Embassies in other Countries: Barnetsville
Military equipment in Metallic Slumber:

E-44 Fighter plane, can be mass produced. And is a cheaper equivalent of the F-16 at 30 million a piece in MS money.
E-67 Fighter Plane. The superior plane to the E-44. At 167 mill a piece in MS money.
Z-6 Bomber Plane. Can be slightly mass produced at 45 mill MS money. Better than the B-52 Stratofortress, but not as good as the B-2 Spirit.
M4 Carbine is the widely used weapon for “normal” infantry.
MP5-N and variants for Special ops mostly.
M1-A2 Tanks and M1 Tanks and LAC’s.
Weapons to advance when they advance higher in real life except for the planes. And these are just the ones mostly used.
