Why or why not?

I, personally, would live in the United Arab Emirates, I’d have a good job as a university lecturer at NYUAD, my wife and kids (I’d have a wife and kids if i moved there inshallah) would be safe in Dubai and I’d be able to practice islam without harassment.

In a perfect world where I didn't need to worry about rent, climate change or stochastic terrorism, probably some island in the Caribbean.

In the imperfect world in which we live, I like where I am

The South Pacific is the Caribbean but better. I’d recommend that as your dream destination.

I'll stay where I am in the UK midlands for living as it'd be a big hassle to find another job. If I had to holiday abroad, somewhere in Scandinavia or the English-speaking parts of Canada would be alright as there'd not be too much culture shock (less so than London or Birmingham probably!)

Wouldn't go in winter though as that would be a bit chilly.

London without question. One of greatest cities in the world. So cosmopolitan, diverse and multicultural and with tons of history and great public transit.

Definitely agree. Aruba is a nice place.

Though I also wouldn’t mind living in Scottsdale

Assuming I had all the resources I need to make such a move, I'd definitely move to a mountainous location: Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Bhutan (in no particular order) would be on the top of my list, but if I had to stay in my own country, I'd choose Jasper.

All that matters is seeing the mountains on all the horizons, to feel the cool mountain air, to admire the majesty of the mountains and the trees that grow on the mountain slopes, and to be able to hike in the mountains and see more of it. If money were no object, the mountains will be where I'd like to live.
