I should have said every gun owned by a civilian should break and sales banned to them.

So you want every gun that isn't owned by a private citizen to break?
Between this and your post about galactic dinosaur civilization hanging out with the aliens I don't know if you're bamboozling us or what, but it's pretty silly.
A superior race, descended from Earth dinosaurs, discovers Voyager, but living proof of the controversial Distant Origin Theory goes against widespread doctrine.

Because Zeldin is an election denier and has outright lied in his campaign ads such as saying he will end cashless bail. The governor doesn’t have the authority to repeal a law.,
It should be illegal to make false claims and take things out of context in campaign ads. There should be a board that reviews them before they go to air.

Even now. SCOTUS is lopsided as fuck and yet that is viewed as “correcting the wrongs of the past”
Ideologues are a problem these days.
What's left is to organize communities and put pressure on elected officials. If the legislature fails so badly that only the court can effectively legislate, the purpose of democracy will be defeated.San Lumen wrote:
That’s going to be our future because of attitudes like yours. I wish dinosaurs still existed because the asteroid hit the moon. They would have a galactic civilization by now and made contact with alien civilizations across the galaxy.
That is absurd and unscientific.

This is one of the things that I really hate about Democrats. It's always about voting for them because they're not their opponents, rather than them being decent themselves.

How do you know what 65 million years of evolution would have brought?

You're the one claiming that dinosaurs would have invented space travel, thereby speculating in an unscientific manner. I have done no such thing. The Mesozoic lasted almost 200 million years, and they didn't invent space travel in that time. I doubt another 65 million would have done the trick.San Lumen wrote:

Zeldin is talking about an issue that affects me and my community: crime. Both myself and some of my loved ones have been victimized by theft, and yet I have no idea what Hochul plans on doing about it. Feel free to talk about why Zeldin is bad (I am well aware that he has flaws) but you're not telling me why I should support Hochul instead of voting 3rd party.

Yes it would. In my ideal world gerrymandering would be illegal, all campaign ads would be subject to a review board and if they contain lies or statements out of context they would not be to allowed to air, all things toxic would be banned and removed from the shelves and society and deforestation would stop completely.

It's very annoying that you will take your stupid little beef with some posters here and use it to justify hatred of the whole species. Speaking as a human, I really don't appreciate you constantly talking shit about how inferior we are to your fantasies about dinosaurs.

As if that could happen under the current elitist system.
Also, gerrymandering is illegal. It still happens, though.

He is outright lying by claiming he is going to end cashless bail. The governor does not have the authority to repeal a law. But at this point i expect him too win and am calling it for him as well as the Senate for Republicans. if the people want idiots like him Walker and Bolduc in power they deserve them. Just wait till someone like MTG is elected Governor or President which i expect to be soon.

Humans are killing this planet because we are a selfish species who only think of ourselves and trees and wildlife are an annoyance. Dinosaurs would have treated the planet better and have a super advanced galactic civilization by now and take good care of the planet and other wildlife.

He is certainly going to make an attempt at ending cashless bail, especially if Republicans do well in state legislature elections. Hochul was complacent with all of the corruption from the Cuomo administration, and that makes me wonder... who did you vote for in the Democratic primary? If you voted for Hochul, why? What makes her a good candidate?
