Elizabeth II had Winston Churchill as her first Prime Minister, who guided her through the early years of her reign until she sadly had to say goodbye to him a few years later.

Charles III had six chaotic weeks of Liz Truss as his first Prime Minister.

Britain is no longer declining: It has declined.

That's not really much of a point, though. Britain's downfall has been a fact for like, 30-50 years now.

Charles has been doing the Queen's job on-and-off for upwards of a decade at this point, and that job mainly entails knighting people, showing up in ceremonies once in a while, and pretending he has any say in the matters of the government, all things he does not need a career politician to guide him through. Whether the UK is declining or has declined is a question worth debating, but it has nothing to do with King Charles III and his relations with his first Prime Minister.

Is it "pretend Churchill wasn't a total clown" hour again?
