Is there anything that people in Scotland won't complain about?

On a tangenital note -toblerone used to be owned by Rowntrees, so at least for a time during Elizabeth II's reign, it was English in some sense of the word.

It was a joke by a third party satirising Trump's narcissism, not an actual claim by the former president; but the satire has, weirdly, gained some traction among people who should know better.

Congratulations on putting yourself in the same category as the sort of person who mistakes Onion articles as serious news.

Welp, I did ask for a source (in a tongue and cheek way) and I am heavily disappointed that it's not real

I mean, it's Donald Trump, you could pick almost any speech, or Tweet, or comment he ever made, and someone who didn't know better could reasonably assume that it must be a joke because he couldn't possibly have said or done something that stupid.

Like, speaking of the Onion, remember this crazy "satirical" story they ran of a man buying up bleach and disinfectant just in case the President told him it could cure the China virus...a month before the press conference where Trump babbled on about whether maybe COVID could be knocked out by injecting some kind of disinfectant?

I would be disappointed if someone knowingly spread a fake story, as it just strengthens Trump's narrative of fake news.

I don't believe the Queen would do such a thing, but I wouldn't put it past Trump to make a tasteless claim like that. It's hard to tell in an age where actual headlines are more outrageous than satire.

As an American, why is this?

Is it similar to public parks and monuments being closed off during a government shutdown?

The bike rack is where the council plans to have the queue to sign the book of remembrance in the town hall. It's so the pavement isn't blocked.

Further than Emma Bunton - who, as of 2007, was 103rd in line to the throne (according to Steve Wright's Further Factoids, a book published that year which was a collection of facts unearthed by the popular Radio 2 drivetime host and his team). Never mind the fact that George, Louis, Charlotte, Archibald and other cheeky little rascals have served to push her down the order a bit since then. Zig-a-zig-aah!

Actually a knighthood is not considered to confer noble status in the British system of nobility. And the nobility and the line of succession are two entirely different things anyway. As far as I'm aware, Elton John is not a descendant of Sophia, Electress of Hanover, and so ineligible to ascend the throne according to the terms of the 1701 Act of Settlement.
