It's not an attitude, it's merely a fact and one that needs to be acknowledged if there's to be any meaningful discussion on immigration reform is to be had: no nation has an obligation to let anybody immigrate into their country. Every country has a right to sovereign control of its own borders.

I don't think anyone here disputes that a country has a right to control its borders. What is your proposal for curbing illegal immigration?
