Climate change is not going to end the world! It's essentially a widely believed conspiracy theory with 0 evidence. I support it mainly for moral reasons, and partially because animal life, and plant life benefit humans.

The reality is that the majority of people who will be affected by climate change do not live in 1st World countries. Expecting everyone to buy a way out of it when living standards are already bad is absurd and callous. “Buy a better AC unit and upgrade your power grid” is not an answer for the 5 billion people who don’t have air conditioning in the first place, much less the 1 billion living in slums.

Climate change doesn't mean the year-round daily mean in Milwaukee will be 115 F, it means the once-in-a-century heatwave will become the once-in-a-decade heatwave. And with that, a whole slew of issues (increased frequency of intense storms, diminishing crop yields, etc.)
