Everybody seems(and I'll admit to doing this on occasion)to delight in beating poor Lumen up on the theory that if we do it enough we'll get an endless supply of Reese's Pieces showering upon our heads. Lumen is a human being and doesn't need to be constantly beaten up on the same things over and over again. I do wonder why the political lens is the only one he's seeing this issue through, but I can understand why he'd see not wanting Republicans to win through any possible-albeit unlikely-chaos ensuing from this to happen.

No it isn't. Republicans would strike break, push for policies to make conditions even worse, and give tax breaks that simply go into the executives' pockets, which is what always happens with neoliberal tax cuts.

These are also the same policies that Lumen would probably impose, so they're identical, not better.
