Maybe I should designate the dreamscape as a place where people can safely explore all their fantasies.

One possibility is that when people sleep they go to the Dreamscape and are matched up with a Dream Bot. The bot would help schedule, plan out, repair the specifics of the dreams etc. I could also write out some books/guides with suggestions on how to make scenarios better.

I don’t think I would use the powers that way. I’d try something else as Dream.

Humanity created the manifestations. They "forced" the endless into being.
Kinda like Terry Pratchett gods. If many believe, you are powerful . If you don't have any followers anymore, you cease to exist.

But, Death did change from "Cold and detached" to "kind and compassionate " in the story.

But in the comics, no one directly believed in the gods, they simply engaged with their facets/domains (ex mortals dream, die, have desires etc)

I don’t remember a plotline where power correlated with the degree of faith amassed etc

Not only does this have a DIRECT, IMMEDIATE effect on the world but you can also retcon any other Endless action.

Though I could see possibly destiny and I could make it so the universe will never end.
