Anne Heche has been declared legally dead under California law following catastrophic injures after a fiery crash into a home. She is on life support until organ donors are found.

She first rose to fame in the soap opera Another World which won her a daytime Emmy award. She came to greater prominence in the late 1990s with roles in the crime drama film Donnie Brasco (1997), the disaster film Volcano (1997), the slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), the action comedy film Six Days, Seven Nights (1998), and the drama-thriller film Return to Paradise (1998).

May she Rest In Peace and her memory be a blessing.

Yeah, they're keeping her body alive while the decide on ... redistributing her organs, but yeah. Too bad, she'd gone through all sorts of stuff in her life.

Good attempt at being edgy. Still shouldn’t you be complaining about the system for failing to take care of the person who made that happen/

I feel horrible for the people who lost their house and were nearly killed by her.

Don't do drugs, kids.

Edgy is pittying someone who knowingly engaged in reckless activity and destroyed some poor family's house and nearly killed them.

As someone who's sister was paralyzed by a drunk driver, I have no fucking pity for people like Heshe. May she burn in hell.

Sad.

Still I am sure Heche didn’t wake up and say today is kind of boring so I think I will crash into a couple buildings today.

Okay, so we should be merciful to these and menaces and feel bad for them. Fuck the people they killed, injured, and the homes they destroyed.

No one here said, "Fuck the people they killed, injured, and the homes they destroyed." You've made your point. Move on.

Part of healing is also seeing a troubled person. The system as usual failed. Edgy crap is spouting “fuck her” type comments in a thread just mentioning she had died.

They accomplish……nothing really. Use the anger to change the system….may be getting mental illness really acknowledged in this country……

Being mentally ill doesn't excuse anything. I have known many people who suffer from things like anxiety, autism, depression, and they live normal lives without turning to drugs and alcohol and crime. Why? Because they are good, responsible people. I myself have schizophrenia but have even thought of it. Sure, I drink occassionally, but never enough to get drunk and the only drugs I do are the ones I was prescribed. I have no pity for criminals. Mental illness is never a valid excuse.

I feel bad for them. That said, I would still feel the same if a murder was killed in a shootout with police. Would I feel bad if the murderer had innocent kids? Of course. But I wouldn't feel bad for the murderer.

Actions have consequences, and society needs to stop excusing criminal activity and reckless behavior.

The "system" didn't pump her full of drugs and put her behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. I don't give a fuck that she died; she decided to go for a drive while coked out of her mind, and in the process she destroyed someone's home and nearly killed them. That's not being "edgy"; it's called having empathy for those who deserve it. Heche doesn't, her victims do.

Hmpf. That sounded very conservative republican and here I thought you were a communist.
