I've heard claims in mid-2023 that the Tower of London may be demolished for a car sales site and Marks & Spencer foodhall on the same site, apparently a Kia/Hyundai dealer will be on the site.

If this was to happen, and it's still not certain yet if it will, what would you think?a

Would this be good or bad publicity for London or damaging? What would the optics look like?

Wouldn't serve as many customers as one built in Heathrow, though.

Anyway, if it were to be demolished (which it won't given there is absolutely fuckall sources saying that it would be beyond a few Facebook accounts at best), I suggest that the Tower of London be shipped to Lake Havasu City like London Bridge was. That way, it would be preserved while still freeing up the land for future redevelopment (may I suggest tower blocks?).
