Generally speaking I have a great deal of respect for the police. They do a very difficult job, often putting themselves in harm's way, to uphold the law and keep us safe. There are countless examples of outstanding service and I am in no doubt that the majority of police officers in my country are honourable people.

That said, I am aware of many cases of corruption and bad behaviour. In the UK, the police are more often (not always) well mannered and treat people as humans. I think this is important. Police should try to retain a sense of impartiality and detachment from the situation. It's not personal, you're not the judge and jury, and nobody likes being arrested. These are important things to remember.

They're heroes, for sure. But I think they're more effective when they retain a sense of impartiality and display common human decency.

Anyways, police canNOT magdump someone. What they are doing is illegal and they will be detained. Plus, when one policeman does something, it doesn't mean all police do that.

I’ve seen videos of it. Even if you are facing a deranged murderer, if you fire one shot “too many,” it’s a life in prison. I saw a video of a store clerk shooting an armed robber once more than necessary, he went to prison for life.
