Well, they didn't have those updated on the ESPN website. So I wasn't sure WTF was going on.

Now I can update my Draft post with all the scores.

Excellent! Out of curiosity, why isn't DIII included in this thread? Just too many schools to make it work or?

I mean. I normally post the scores myself. And I am doing FBS, FCS, and DII. That already takes up a bit of time, especially since I work 48 hours a week.

I mean, if someone else wants to post the DIII scores, but they really don't do a Poll like the other three do.

So, LSU special teams needs to buckle down. If we can't beat FSU, we have no chance against SEC teams.

Vaguely watched most of it and tbh, they look sharp as ever on offense. Jaylen Daniels could be a problem if they can just get the other parts to mesh.

There's always this coming week.

New polls should drop Thursday seeing as there is a Monday night game.

I miss the old LSU. The LSU that would go for 2 instead of kicking the extra point. The Les Miles LSU. Bring him back.

Fun Fact: Vanderbilt has a better record than anyone else in the SEC. Upset over Bama and Georgia completely viable at this point.

TODAYS BIG NEWS

The Board of Governors for the College Football Playoff have passed a resolution ot expand the playoff to a 12 Team Playoff by the 2026 Season, with the system being in place as early as the 2024 season.

This will be reverted the instant a 2 or 3 loss Alabama team gets in and wins the championship. I'm willing to bet my entire life on it.

petras man what the hell are you doing

1.1/100 quarterback rating\

petras needs to be benched and brian ferentz needs to go, if he wasn't kirk's son he would be long gone by now. ridiculous.

if our abysmal offense continues like that, we're not winning a single big ten game.

I'm going to be at the SDSU-Cal Davis game next weekend. It will be interesting to see how the defense does against a more competent offense and whether Gronowski can complete a pass that isn't a 1-yard screen :P

This is incorrect. Iowa will beat Nebraska 2-0

So who wants to be Alabama’s opponent for the Music City Bowl? I’m feeling Georgia Tech myself, but I’ll also settle for Louisville.

Nevermind horns down lol

I'm sure the Bama circlejerk will keep them ranked #1 even though they don't deserve it after barely squeaking by Bevo.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame seems intent on dropping out of the rankings...

Personally I'm hoping that Georgia or Ohio State jumps them. Bama plays better when they aren't #1.

Fun Fact: Alabama's 15 penalties against Texas was 1 short of tying the school record, which is 16 set back in 1995 against...Georgia.

I doubt Alabama will remain number one; I doubt that Bama-Texas game was what everyone was expecting.

Also not sure whether Texas defense is good, or just the Alabama penalties

Imagine bringing in the #1 recruiting class, spending millions in NIL deals, and talking shit all offseason just to lose to Appalachian State.

Maybe, just maybe, Texas A&M isn't that good and people just thought they were because they beat Alabama once and brought in a top recruiting class only due to boosters throwing millions for NIL deals. Nah. Surely this was just a hiccup and Texas A&M is still on the road to the playoff, right? Right?

That was a decisive win by the Georgia Bulldogs. They better be upped to #1 after that win. Although knowing the AP Poll morons, they'll keep them at #2 and keep Alabama at #1.

Kentucky with a great win today over #12 Florida. Hoping my home state can get some respect in the new AP Poll tomorrow

How about the Ass-kicking the LSU Tigers are giving the Southern Jaguars?

65-14 with 8 minutes still left in the 4th.

No extra points blocked at least.

My takeaway from Alabama--Texas is that Texas is actually quite good, and Bryce Young has the clutch gene. Alabama should have lost that game and it seems like this will be another year where Alabama consistently has one or two players will them to a win, which is unfortunate. I think they need that 10-3/11-3 kick in the pants every once in a blue moon to instill that genuine hunger for a championship in their players. Just my $0.02.

My takeaway from South Carolina--Arkansas is that South Carolina are early offensive rhythm away from being a big problem in the East. There was a good deal of improvement from the OL, especially in the second half, and our receiving corps and running backs are as good as anyone. Defense needs to step up, but if the second half Gamecocks are the ones that consistently show up, *whoo*.

Didn't watch the afternoon or evening slate super intently, but of what I did watch: Texas A&M gonna Texas A&M. You cannot consistently play to your opponents like Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M do and hope to compete for a championship. Just not how it works. Major props to Appalachian State and Marshall though. Two teams that show up when it matters.

Lastly, gotta think this is it for Scott Frost. Georgia Southern are not a bad team, but this game should not be close for a Nebraska in year five of the Frost era.

May pop back up in here with a top 25 once we have all the results (thanks for playing the 10:15 EST slot, Baylor!). On a side note, I think an NS Top 25 would be a fun thing for this thread to start with, and might get some more engagement week-to-week and mid-week.
...And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud!

I still think Sarkisian is a bad hire. Tom Herman would have won that one by two touchdowns with how badly Alabama screwed up that game
