Ironic considering Nixon helped create it…

You also left out the part where Tarsonis said people would have deal with no power and shortages and to send food to striking workers. They would come off as tone deaf.

In this hypothetical where Tarsonis is a politician - not the owner/CEO/executive of the rail company - his hands are tied. He can't force the striking workers to go back to work and he can't force the rail company to meet the demands of the striking workers. He can surely try to convince one of those parties to do one of those things, and the right route to take would be to convince the rail company to meet the demands of the striking workers.

The fact that you're so adamant being angry at the working class strikers and their supporters rather than being angry at their bosses/executives/company owners is telling and it's why people here have accused you of being anti-worker.

You left out the part where we've all been desperately trying to tell you for weeks that the reasonable solution here is to negotiate with the workers or to just give them what they want. None of us here are coming off as tone deaf when the culprits for people potentially having to deal with no power and supply shortages are not the striking workers demanding better working conditions but their management refusing to make even any kind of reasonable concession to the very very reasonable demand that "Maybe workers shouldn't live in poverty idk."

One of you is providing vocal and material support for striking workers and the other one has in the past said that the government should use force to stop them from striking. It's an easy choice for me as well.
