In Vanessa Bryant v. County of Los Angeles, the county is arguing that because SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade, families of victims don't have constitutional privacy rights regarding photos - so it's not illegal to show them off at bars.

The case revolves around how people within law enforcement long have photographed gory deaths for personal entertainment and because they “want something special to show their friends.” Vanessa Bryant have filed suit claiming a violation of privacy after a deputy had showed photos of the corpse of Kobe Bryant and their deceased daughters to bar patrons and a firefighter had showed them to off-duty colleagues.

Seems to me there is an easy solution, namely that cops who waste taxpayer money taking private photos of individuals while on duty should be fired. Either the shots are evidence and so not private property, or the cops are wasting taxpayer money.
