a gun is a targeted weapon that can be used as long as you have bullets. a car is a blunt weapon (it hits everyone in an area, which is not always what a killer wants) that only has so much inertia.

You ever seen a car go 45 mph down a crowded sidewalk?

What a croc of shit lol

Ok. How many people have been run down by cars and how many people have been shot this year?

this does not address what i said. also, a blunt weapon that hits lots of people at once doing great damage sounds exactly like what a potential mass killer would want.

Yes its totally acceptable for the power to turn off for millions as bargaining chip but this coming from someone who would tell their constituents if they were Mayor or Governor to send pizza to striking workers when their is no power or food.

Once again you spout elitist dogma. Workers striking is how we improve the working conditions and wages for the people who do the majority of the work.
Without striking, you would not have weekends, a 40-hour week, medical insurance, an end to child labour, etc.

Forcing people to be overworked to the point of exhaustion, and lack of safety regulations for little pay is endangering public safety.
How do you fail to understand this?

If they all responded by saying "We quit," would you use the power of the state to prevent them from quitting?

And if they try to flee, would you send special patrols after them?

The Democratic Party doesn't care about gay marriage. The Democratic Party cares about fundraising from corporations, wealthy donors, and cutting their taxes. You keep voting for the same status quo candidates who take money from corporations and you're going to lose your legal right to marriage. This is absolutely your fault for voting for corrupt establishment candidates. You complain about the status quo but do nothing to actually challenge the status quo and this is what you get for contributing to corruption.
