West Saxon independence

Let me preface this by stating that I do not live in Wessex: my ancestors moved to County Durham due to a lack of job opportunities in their field in South Gloucestershire, coming from near Dyrham, the site of one of our greatest victories over the Britons. However, I feel a deep emotional connection to my ancestral homeland and consider myself a West Saxon.

Here is Wessex as I define it:

I oppose the 'Wessex Regionalists', perhaps best known for their relationship with the foreign occupier Alexander Thynn (now dead) (whose wife had no problem with him constantly cheating on her but objected to their son marrying a black woman LOL). While I appreciate their ties to Common Wealth, who I stan, they are too moderate, not focused enough on Wessex's Anglo-Saxon past, and generally don't support West Saxon independence. Also, Oxfordshire is clearly not part of Wessex.

In my opinion, Wessex should be independent. What do you think, NSG?

I fully agree with (temporarily) wessexian independence.

It will make England weaker (always a good thing) and with it not being a part of NATO, will make for a great candidate to invade and conquer.
