Didn't really care one way or another, but now that I remember what they are all about.. NM.. I certainly wont lose any sleep over their destruction. bits of sanity surrounded by unhinged nonsense.

It's also funny seeing people joking about it like it was only right-wing nuts upset.. another large group of haters were those who insisted it was some kind of secret right wing/nazi thing.

One either fights for something, or falls for nothing.
One either stands for something, or falls for anything.

Now do Stone Mountain.
"...the Republican strategy of disenfranchisement is a state-by-state strategy. It looks like judicial rule where they cannot win. Where they cannot win by judicial rule, they will rule by procedural theft. Where they cannot convince voters to vote for them, they will convince the candidate they voted for to become one of them." - Tressie McMillan Cottom | "...now you have someone sitting on top of the personal data of several billion users, someone who has a long track record of vindictive harassment, someone who has the ear of the far right, and someone who has just shown us his willingness to weaponize internal company data to score political points. That scares me a lot." -- Marcus Hutchins*

Yes but it's usually the right-wingers who actually follow through with direct action. The left suffers a great deficit of propaganda of the deed lately. There are still hundreds of Confederate monuments that are unguarded and easily destroyed yet they're still standing.

I didn’t know these things existed until they were in the news but I feel like people blowing up stuff they don’t like isn’t the sort of activity that we should be encouraging.

It’s just vandalism, sure, but vandalism with high explosives shouldn’t be lightly brushed aside.
Your faith does not amuse me. Fundamentalism is a singularly unfunny disposition- A Rightist Puppet

In short, "fascist" is a modern word for "heretic," branding an individual worthy of excommunication from the body politic. The right uses otherwords ("reverse-racist," "feminazi," "unamerican," "communist") for similiar purposes, but these words have less elastic meanings. Fascism, however, is the gift that keeps on giving. - Jonah Goldberg, revisited.

Acts of terrorism are never acceptable.

This is hardly terrorism. No one is being "terrorised" by this act. Vandalism, more likely.
