Well the thing is, we don't really know when alcohol consumption does start to harm a developing foetus. We do know it's not an absolute thing, plenty of women have had small amounts of alcohol while pregnant and their baby was fine, but there's no ethical way to figure out exactly how many drinks during a pregnancy is too many.

You should be careful about theological language. God is, by definition, a fully actualised being. He is the being whose attributes are universally perfect, and He is that than which nothing greater can be conceived. Were He to have an unactualised will, then He would not be fully actualised, and He would not be God. This means that God cannot fail. Because God cannot fail, whatever He wants already is. His will and reality are in perfect alignment. God wants for there to be exactly as many abortions as there are. Precisely as many unborn children die as God wills.

Accidental heterodoxy aside, I understand the point that you are making. It is that the path to God’s holiness is a path from which one invariably errs if one procures an abortion. However, if you are making a statement about God and His sanctified nature, then I would expect some very good reasoning to support that. I tend to be fairly cautious speculating about the precise way that reality interacts with God, given His general unknowability. I would therefore invite you to prove your claim. Why is it that God’s holy nature is anathema to abortion?

Well I'm not Christian, so that may be why. I'm not saying that his points are invalid, I'm saying that they are no basis for policy action to be implemented. It's a notable difference.
