It's hard to ignore when you are watching a tv show like survivor and every episode they have to talk about how hard life is for them because they are part of X/Y/Z group and shit. Like why isn't representation enough without needing to turn every single show into a talks how about issues. We can't just get away from it. Trust me if people only did "woke-ism" within their groups then no one would care, its when they try to get society to embrace more than simple equality.

This ruling allows the federal government to ban abortion if the federal government so chose. The ruling didn't put "the power" with the states, it just said abortions aren't protected by the constitution, with a nice little concurrence saying the court should get rid of the protection on gay marriage, contraceptives, sodomy, and any other case that used substantive due process.

The States should have very limited powers in my opinion. In a country with over 300 million people, there should be a strong federal government. You are not 50 separate countries.

Canadian Big brother is just as diverse as American Big Brother and Survivor and guess what, they are able to show different cultures without bringing up the race/sexual orientation/gender identity of the contestants where, specifically on survivor somehow these become relevant.

The point is that the US should take Canada's approach to these issues, have inclusion, have discussion in appropriate settings and treat people equally. Equality is achieved when it doesn't have to be announced.

Yes because the civil rights act of 64 was passed lol. It would have been talked about at that time though, today its not, because equality in the realm of TV has been achieved (specifically with CBS now) it's not equality until society see's it as normal and no longer feels the need to bring it up.

I wish I could ignore it. My health class is taught by an extreme progressive, & she shoves it in our face every day. The class is 30% health, 70% politics. On top of this, I have to pretend to be a progressive to avoid the social death penalty from my friends.
