The Estonian election results are out and they are as follows:

  1. Estonian Reform Party: 37 (+3)
  2. Conservative People's Party of Estonia: 17 (-2)
  3. Estonian Centre Party: 16 (-10)
  4. Estonia 200: 14 (+14)
  5. Social Democratic Party: 9 (-1)
  6. Isamaa: 8 (-4)
The Reform Party (also known as the Squirrel Party because of their logo) is right of centre, Estonia 200 is centrist, and the Centre Party is left of centre.

Martin Helme, the leader of the far-right EKRE, threw a temper tantrum about internet votes, like what Trump and Bolsonaro did for postal and machine voting respectively, but to be honest his case is weak because there are a good number of stages for verification, none of which requires leaving the house (UK Conservatives, you could probably learn from that). The question is: how likely will EKRE get a fine for bad-faith litigation like what happened to Bolsonaro?

Overall, Putin's attempt to interfere with the election in favour of EKRE hit a roadblock.

In my defence, I did not expect an Estonian election thread to get enough replies to justify a standalone thread, especially in the era of megathreads.
