Now that they are decriminalising MDMA, they will be too loved up to break apart.

While I'm not 100% sure that this will be the case, I am pretty confident in saying that Canada will likely remain a coherent country. If a country whose Anglo-majority population only unique identity is "hockey, multiculturalism, and we're not America" can remain intact for the past 155 years, then I'm absolutely certain that it'll still be around for 155 more.

Of course, there is always a possibility that the Tories turn full Wexit-y, or Quebec starts to press the cause of sovereignty once again, and depending on how well they can utilize western alienation or Quebecois nationalism, it may be possible that Canada may fall apart and split up into a couple states, maybe more.

However, I do not see Canada in its entirety ever being vored by the United States: I think anyone who seriously suggests that all of Canada join the United States would probably have a hard time even getting fifth place in their riding, let alone have the chance to form government. However, in a scenario where Western Canada does break off from Canada, I do think that based on the current batch of leaders among the Wexiteer movement, it is pretty likely that an independent western Canadian state will last for a few years tops before they agree to get vored by the States.

Canada is unlikely to (willingly) be annexed by the US. Culturally, it is more British than American. The narrow window of opportunity for Canada to have become part of the US was during War of 1812 or before that. US failed to conquer Canada and its been too long where Canada has developed a separate identity and history from the US.

Canada is basically where most of the British loyalists from American Revolution fled to. They were displeased at not being British subjects anymore after 1784, and left the US to rejoin the British empire as Canadian residents.
